Resolution No. 03-01-23 (Current Budget)
An Ordinance to amend the fiscal year 2023 budget to transfer $16,000 from reserves to a new "Western Grove Park Fountain Equipment Vault" line item in the Capital Projects budget to fund replacement of the vault that houses the fountain equipment in Western Grove Park.

An Ordinance to amend the fiscal year 2023 budget to transfer $70,000 from reserves to the “Sidewalk Maintenance” line item in the Capital Projects budget to fund miscellaneous sidewalk repairs and maintenance and to fully replace a section of sidewalk located along Chevy Chase Circle between Grafton Street and Western Avenue.

An Ordinance to amend the fiscal year 2023 budget to transfer $16,340 from reserves to the “Public Works Equipment Purchases” line item in the capital projects budget to fund the purchase of a replacement leaf vacuum, $69,400 from reserves to a new line item in the capital projects budget entitled “Phone and Recording Systems” to fund acquisition of replacement systems, and $17,000 from reserves to a new line item in the capital projects budget entitled “Boxwood Area Project” to fund the planning and redesign for the project located in a green space on Chevy Chase Circle.

FY2023 Budget Process
The Village Board of Managers will hold its Budget Work Session on Wednesday, March 2.
Following the Board’s Budget Work Session on Wednesday, March 2, Village staff will make requested modifications to the budget and circulate an amended draft to the Board in advance of the March 14 Public Hearing. The amended draft will be posted to this page as well.
The Board held a Public Hearing on the draft budget during its regular meeting on Monday, March 14, followed by a second Public Hearing on the budget during its Monday, April 11 regular meeting.
An explanatory memo regarding the budget was drafted by Board Treasurer Mr. Gary Crockett and included in the April issue of the Crier.
The Board will adopt the FY2023 operating and capital budget during the Village’s Annual Meeting on Monday, April 18.
