Since May 1996, household refuse collection has been under private contract. Refuse collection occurs for Village residents on two different schedules each week.

Mondays and Thursdays are collection days for the north section of the Village from Kirke Street (both east and west) to Bradley Lane. Tuesdays and Fridays are collection days for the south section of the Village from Irving Street (both east and west) to Western Avenue.

The Village provides rear-door collection as a convenience to residents. Trash containers must be stored at the rear of the residence.
